Gifts of Gold Exhibit Spotlights Wake County Students

Wake County Public School System in Apex, North Carolina, reports celebrating student creativity across Wake County. Every spring, the district partners with Raleigh Arts and the United Arts Council of Raleigh & Wake County to present Gifts of Gold, a visual arts exhibition showcasing student-created artwork.

This year’s exhibit features nearly 200 students from more than 90 WCPSS schools, from kindergarten through high school.

Gifts of Gold is the visual arts companion to Pieces of Gold, a performing arts event featuring over 1,000 student performers.

Together, these events shine a spotlight on the power of arts education in the schools.
