Wake County Government announced a traveling art exhibit featuring local artists painting outdoors across county parks and preserves this spring.

The exhibit, part of the county’s 50th anniversary celebration, will launch July 1 and will visit four parks throughout 2026.

Exhibit stops:
• July 1–Aug. 2: Beech Bluff County Park
• Aug. 7–Sept. 7: Historic Yates Mill County Park
• Sept. 14–Oct. 11: Harris Lake County Park
• Oct. 16–Nov. 22: Blue Jay Point County Park

Wake County says a special opening celebration will be held on Saturday, July 11, at Beech Bluff.
